Investigators Search for Lincoln Park Bank Robber

A man walked into a local bank Saturday morning and robbed it, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to reports.

Federal investigators are searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America branch in Lincoln Park on Saturday.

NBC cited Chicago Police News Affairs to report that the suspect walked into the bank at 2401 N. Clark St. around 10 a.m. Although he never showed a weapon, he implied that he had one, the story says.

No one was hurt in the robbery and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Chicago Tribune reported that the man was described as being around 50 years old and wearing a mustard-colored ball cap and a dark green jacket.

Additional information was not immediately available as of Saturday afternoon.
