@properties Lands Three Top-Producing Chicago Real Estate Brokers

@properties, the largest independent real estate brokerage firm in Chicagoland, announced that it has hired three top-producing brokers representing more than $19 million in annual sales volume. All three brokers come to @properties from Prudential Rubloff Properties’ Lincoln Park office.

·  Susie Pearson, 59, joins @properties’ Lincoln Park office as a broker with The Pearson Group. Pearson brings more than 32 years of experience in residential real estate, specializing in the Gold Coast, Streeterville, Lincoln Park, Old Town and River North neighborhoods. A River North resident, Pearson is also an accredited chef and graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school.

·  Kevin Green, 48, also joins @properties’ Lincoln Park office as a broker associate with The Pearson Group. A lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Green has more than 25 years of real estate experience in a variety of markets, including new construction in the city and suburbs. He specializes in a wide range of property types throughout the city, primarily in the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and Bridgeport neighborhoods.

·  Christopher Norton, 42, joins the firm’s Lincoln Park office as a broker. With an extensive background in construction, Norton has developed strong relationships with several developers and builders in the Chicago area.  Norton focuses on new-construction sales in River North, Roscoe Village, North Center, Logan Square, Wicker Park and Bucktown.

@properties co-founders Thaddeus Wong and Michael Golden say they are expecting more top-producing brokers to join the firm, as mergers, acquisitions and new franchise affiliations swallow up the brands that once comprised the leading independent brokerage firms in Chicagoland. Two of those firms, Prudential Rubloff Properties and Koenig & Strey Real Living, just recently merged under the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services brand.

“A lot of these veteran brokers have ‘merger fatigue.’ They just want to focus on selling real estate, and that’s exactly what they’ll be able to do at @properties,” said Golden.
