Local Polling Place Ranks for Chicago Early Voting

Lincoln Park is in third place in the race for early voter turnout so far. Can you guess which neighborhood has the most people headed to the ballot box early?

Early voting started on Monday, and thousands have already flocked to the wards' designated stations to cast their ballot before the Nov. 6 election day rush.

As of Saturday, 2,893 people had voted at the Lincoln Park Library, which is the designated voted area for those in the 43rd Ward. Other local voters may also be heading to the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library's 32nd Ward headquarters at 1701 N. Milwaukee Ave. So far, 1,955 ballots have been cast there.

The 43rd and 32nd wards come in third and 24th place, respectively, when it comes to early voter turnout compared with the other wards in the city. The 19th district—it covers the Beverly neighborhood on the South Side—was in first place as of Oct. 27.
