Local Overnight Crash Sends 3 to Hospital

Police say a crash early Saturday morning left three people injured.

Police reported early Saturday that three people were injured in a Lincoln Park crash that involved two taxi cabs.

The accident occurred around 2:25 a.m. near the six-way intersection of Halsted Street and Lincoln and Fullerton avenues, police said.

Around that time, a taxi driving southbound on Halsted Street went to make a left turn onto Fullerton and was hit by an oncoming vehicle, which then struck a second taxi at the intersection.
